November 24, 2022

Although most of us don’t need to be as particular about our appearances as celebrities,  we don't need to be as strict with ourselves as celebrities, a set of white teeth really makes you more beautiful.   What are dental veneers? Veneers are tooth-coloured materials made of porcelain or resin that are bonded to the front of your teeth. They are custom-made, and used to address issues such as crooked teeth, gaps between teeth, chipped teeth and discoloured teeth. Porcelain veneers can last 15 to 20 years, and composite veneers can last from five to eight years. However, with proper care and and precautions, veneers can typically last even longer.
Who is suitable for dental veneers?  Dental veneers mainly solve the problem of dark teeth, such as tetracycline teeth, fluorosis teeth, hereditary yellow teeth, etc. If there are some defects in the tooth shape, such as a missing front tooth, too small teeth or too large gaps, it can also be visually repaired with veneers. Why choose dental veneers?    Safety With dental veneers, less tooth tissue is removed. This is because porcelain veneer grinds less tooth tissue, and in some cases, it does not even need to grind tooth tissue. As a result, it does not need to kill nerves, and reduces postoperative pulp inflammation, necrosis and other full crown restorations      Aesthetics Porcelain veneer has the same optical properties as natural tooth tissue, and does not contain any metal components. Moreover, there are a variety of different colours of porcelain blocks to choose from during production, which can achieve an overall coordinated cosmetic effect. And the high wear resistance and non-staining of the porcelain itself can make the porcelain veneer achieve a permanent whitening effect.   Comfort Porcelain veneer repair basically does not involve grinding the tooth, and can preserve most or even all tooth’s original shape. The touch is natural and comfortable, and the "foreign object sensation" that typically comes with traditional porcelain teeth is avoided. Costs Porcelain veneers cost between S$1,000 to $2,500, while composite veneers can cost between $250 to $1,500.
